ProNet Group is pleased to announce that Mr. Ethos Rivera has been hired as Senior Building Consultant. Mr. Rivera is a proficient construction manager with first-hand experience in residential, light commercial, heavy commercial, light industrial, heavy industrial, manufacturing and process facilities. His experience transcends buildings to roadways, bridges, substations, stormwater, and wastewater processes. Mr. Rivera is well versed in contractor standards of care, budgeting, safety/OSHA compliance and project management. He has over 15 years of hands-on field experience with projects throughout the United States, including Puerto Rico, and internationally. He has managed projects ranging from less than $100,000 to over $45 million dollars.  Mr. Rivera has extensive experience in subcontractor negotiations, project scheduling, design/build projects, Green and LEED projects.

 

Mr. Rivera’s career began in the field of civil engineering where he acquired strong practical and technical skills in engineering operations, construction, quality control, and management for government and private companies.  He has in-depth knowledge of engineering designing, testing, and evaluating a design’s overall effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety.

 

Mr. Rivera is well versed in code compliance, construction defects, construction liability, contractor standard of care, contractor OSHA requirements, clerk of works, moisture intrusion/water damage, differential foundation movement, construction vibration and blasting/explosion damage, fire damage remediation, and earthquake/hurricane/tornado/storm damage. Mr. Rivera has extensive experience in forensics with investigations covering everything from ground movement and sinkholes to weather-related breaches and damage to structures.  He conducted over 1,000 inspections following Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Michael, Laura, Delta and Ian.
